MISSION STATEMENT: Our Mission is to teach Olympic-style Target Archery to all ages, abilities and to individuals with disabilities.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR:   Marcia E. Wyman  - Level IV National Coach

Wyman began shooting at age 12 when introduced to the sport at summer camp. "My camp instructor knew how to teach the sport in a disciplined, safe and fun way," says Wyman.  "After camp, my parents bought me a light-weight fiberglass bow that I shot with in my back yard.”

After earning her B.A. in Business, Wyman became a Camp Counselor and was certified as a Level I Basic Instructor through  "The World Archery Center (T.W.A.C.) “T.W.A.C. was a big influence in my life.  In June, for two weeks, archers from around the world met in Roxbury, VT.  T.W.A.C. certified instructors, offered family archery programs and had  the best archery coaches in the world share their expertise,” Wyman recalls.

In 1986, Wyman founded the New England School of Archery.  The business has received recognition from the  N.E. American Camp Association and the National Archery Association. “I want to share my love of archery and help others.   Shooting the bow improves eye-hand coordination,  increases upper body strength and challenges the mind. Concentration, self-confidence and self-image are enhanced due to the simplicity and yet, complexity of the sport.”
